When operating the stop&drain valve that supplies water to your home please be sure the valve is completely turned on or off. If the valve is partially opened or closed significant leakage can/will occur.

The District will be flushing the water system during the remainder of October to remove accumulated sediment in the pipes. If the water in your tap is cloudy or off-color let it run for five minutes before drinking or cooking. Regardless of its short-term appearance, the water is safe to drink and meets all treatment standards. When you winterize your home please be sure to turn the stop&drain valve completely off.
