The regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Sierra Lakes County Water District is held on the second Friday of each and every calendar month at a time set by the Board.
The Directors are elected to staggered four-year terms and elections are held every two years, during the even-year November General Election. The 2018 candidate filing period began on July 16th and ends on August 10th (extended to August 15th if one of the incumbents does not file for reelection). Directors are elected at large by the voters within the District boundary. Registered voters and land owners are eligible to run for office and are required to file candidate nomination papers with the Placer County Elections Division.
