As you all know, the Royal Fire is currently burning near the Serene Lakes community. According to Watch Duty, an app, the fire is located south of Serene Lakes. There has been an evacuation Warning for the area on the eastern side of the fire, including 5 homes along Soda Springs Road south of the community.
The community is not yet under any evacuation warning as of 5 am pacific time. However, many in the community are running their hoses as a precaution. This is causing a high amount of water usage that could impact our ability to produce enough water to meet the water usage. Please refrain from running open hoses or sprinklers that are only being used for fire prevention purposes.
